Essay and Oratorical Contests

Attention ALL Abraham Erb students!!!  Would you like to win up to $22,500.00?!  The Optimist Clubs of Westvale-Waterloo and Twin Cities are hosting their annual Essay and Oratorical Contests again. Are you brave enough to speak to a small audience for 4 to 5 minutes and tell them “Where Are My Roots of Optimism”?  Or can you write an essay answering the question, “Can Society Function Without Respect”? If so, please go to the website listed below for more information on how you can apply to be part of these speaking and writing contests. The application deadline is January 15, 2018 and the contests occur in February and March, so don’t delay! Everyone who participates will receive a certificate and you may even win some of the bigger prizes like gift certificates or money!  The winning essays can go on to win $2,500 and the speeches are eligible to go on and compete for international scholarships totalling up to $22,500.00.
