You Otter Know SMALL

The Humane Society visited us at the library on Monday, Dec. 8th and Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014.

The people who visited us were Penny the dog and Mrs. Enns.

Mrs. Enns came to teach us about animals and the Humane Society. We learned not to go up to a dog we don’t know, never hurt your pets, don’t leave your pets outside at night, and don’t leave your pets starving. She also said we should ask before touching a dog, and learned how to approach a dog safely.

Mrs. Enns told us we should never touch or take take wild animals, and should leave baby animals that are by themselves alone because their moms might come back. Never touch a snapping turtle–they bite and they don’t let go for a long time!

Thanks for reading!
