Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome back! We are well into our second week of the 2014/2015 school year and so happy to see you all here at Abraham Erb. Welcome to all of the new families joining us this year as well. We are excited to get to know all of you over the coming months.
This evening we will host our Meet the Teacher event here at Abraham Erb. Families are invited to come early to participate in a BBQ at the back of the school (in the gym in the case of rain).
Here are some reminders for all families and visitors to Abraham Erb, to help keep all students and visitors safe and happy:
- All visitors are to sign in at the office each time you arrive at the school.
- We are a NUT FREE school as we have a number of students and adults with life threatening allergies.
- In the event that you have a problem with your child and/or another child, please let the classroom teacher and office know. It is not appropriate to approach a child outside on the playground to solve the problem during school hours. Remember young people are not expecting to be approached by an adult not known to them.
- Please, no pets on school property.
- Walk bicycles, scooters and skateboards when on school property.
- Parking is available in the upper lot if absolutely necessary, as well as on adjacent streets. Please note Laurelwood Drive has a no parking bylaw in place.
