All WRDSB schools have a safe arrival program to ensure the safe arrival of students at school. For the program to work effectively, parents and guardians must contact the school each and every day your child will be absent from school. Please use the following to inform the school before the start of the school day:

Please indicate your:
- Student’s First and Last Name
- Homeroom or Teacher’s name and;
- Reason for their absence or why they will be late
DROP OFF and PICK UP
Students at Abraham Erb enter and exit the building from their grade doors. When dropping students off before school or picking students up after school, you are asked to stop briefly in the “kiss-and-drop” zone at the bottom of the hill on Laurelwood Drive. This is not a parking zone.
If you need to come into the school all vehicles must either park in the upper lot or on an adjacent street, enter the school at the main entrance, and sign in at the office. There is no parking at any time on Laurelwood Drive. Please see this post on student safety and parking from the City of Waterloo.
