Laurelwood Public School presents The Music Man, involving over 175 students, running evenings February 23-25, 2015 in the WCI auditorium.
The Music Man is set in early twentieth-century Iowa. The plot is centred around a fast-talking travelling salesman, Harold Hill, who cons the townspeople into buying band instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band he promises to create. Unfortunately for the townspeople, Hill doesn’t have a musical bone in his body!
Students from Grades 5 -8 have participated in countless rehearsals and backstage preparations since September to ensure their audience leaves smiling and humming a tune. Laurelwood would like to invite the families of Abraham Erb P.S. to come and see this amazing show!
