As a part of our Social Studies unit, the grade 2’s and 3’s from Ms. Watson’s and Madame Romanow’s classes created a peace tree.  Hanging on this tree are symbols frm all over the world that depict peace.  Students chose some that were personal, and some that were new discoveries to them from other cultures.  Students made the peace tree in an act of kindness, hoping that people viewing the tree would be inspired to add more peace to their lives.
