Grade 5 Waterloo students can be city councillors for the day
February 8th, 2018
Mayor Dave Jaworsky is inviting Grade 5 students in Waterloo to share one big idea to make Waterloo an even better place to live. Students can submit their idea in writing or as a video, and Mayor Jaworsky will select eight entrants to take over city council for a day.
Winners will have a chance to get to work in City Hall on April 11, 2018, experiencing the State of the City address, touring city facilities, conducting media interviews and more.
The deadline for entries is Friday, March 9 by 4:00pm. More information and entry forms can be found on the City of Waterloo website.
