Our Abraham Erb School Council plays an important role in the school community. All parents/guardians are welcome and encouraged to attend School Council meetings. Abraham Erb School Council will meet on dates that are listed below for the 2023-2024 school year to share information and provide an opportunity for parent input to school programs, initiatives, and plans. Our first meeting is: Wednesday, September 20th at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held virtually and a meeting link will be shared closer to the date.

Wednesday, October 18th 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Wednesday, November 15th 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Wednesday, January 17th 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Wednesday, February 21st 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Wednesday, April 17th 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Wednesday, May 15th 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Wednesday, June 19th 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Each year, at the first School Council meeting, an election is held to determine who will hold the positions of Chair (one position), Treasurer (one position), Secretary (one position), Community Member (one position) and Member-at-Large (multiple positions). These positions are “voting members” of Council and it will be important for these people to commit to attending all council meetings if possible. Positions where only one person has expressed an interest will be acclaimed.

It is also an option for parents/guardians to participate in and attend Abraham Erb School Council meetings as non-voting members.
