We’re excited to welcome all Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) students back to school on Wednesday, September 3. Below, parents, families and caregivers will find important information they need to know for the beginning of the school year.

School Information for Parents, Families and Caregivers

Our School Year Information website is now updated for the 2025-2026 school year. Please take a few moments to review this information.

  • The information applies to all students in the WRDSB
  • School-specific information will be sent out by each school through their regular channels

Important – Action Required

The Action Required page provides information to parents, families and caregivers about forms and paperwork that need to be completed and returned to your school at the beginning of the school year.

Elementary Class Assignments

To ensure the protection of student privacy, parents, families and caregivers can use School-Day to view your child’s classroom information starting Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Please login at your convenience and follow the steps to access this information.

If you do not use School-Day, class lists will be available at the school on the first day of classes, Wednesday, September 3. Teachers will have the class lists available on the first day of school and can help determine the location of your child’s classroom.

Visit the Elementary Class Assignments page for more information on how to determine your student’s homeroom.

Parents, families and caregivers are encouraged to explore the School Year Information website to learn more about important dates, busing and school safety.

Visit the School Year Information website.

Bus schedules are now available. For instructions on viewing details about your child’s bus information:

Crossing Guards

The City of Kitchener has updated the Crossing Guard shift times to better meet the needs of students, parents, families, and the community.
