Abraham Erb is excited to be participating in the Terry Fox School Run this Thursday, September 21st from 2-3 p.m. Terry Fox is a Canadian hero who lost a limb to cancer when he was a teenager. Terry’s empathy, courage and determination led to his goal of running across Canada to raise awareness and finances for cancer research. You can learn more about Terry’s story at terryfox.org.
This Thursday, students are invited to wear red and white or their Canada 150 t-shirts and bring a toonie or two to help support cancer research. Our school’s goal is to raise $500.
Let’s be like Terry! Aspire. Inspire.
