October 19th, 2026
Reminder: The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) is hosting a Public Information Session on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, to provide information about the West Waterloo School Boundary Review, involving:
- Abraham Erb Public School
- Edna Staebler Public School
- Laurelwood Public School
- Vista Hills Public School
The primary purpose of this boundary review is to ensure we can continue to meet the needs of students, parents, families and caregivers in the years ahead. We are conducting this review to examine options that would allow students to attend the school closest to their homes. Proposed changes would support more walkable school boundaries.
Regardless of the Board of Trustees’ decision at the conclusion of the review, there will be no changes before June 2027.
