Hello Families,

Welcome to a new year at Abraham Erb P.S!  It is an exciting time for students and staff as we embark on a year of learning and growing together.

I am delighted to be a part of such a wonderful school community here at Abraham Erb. It has been a pleasure to meet so many terrific families and I look forward to getting to know all of you better as the year progresses.

The school looks great and there are many people to thank. Thank you to all staff for working so hard to make your rooms so inviting.  A special thank you to Mrs. Rodrigues, Mrs. Orozco and Mrs. Neskovic-Mutlak  who have worked diligently over the summer to make this school look spotless.   Also, Ms. Pitkin and Mrs. Blair have been busy this week welcoming our new families.

We welcome several new staff members this year. Mlle Romonow  will be teaching Grade 2/3 French Immersion,  Miss Stewart will be teaching French and planning time coverage, Miss Caruana will be teaching planning time coverage, Mme Petean will be teaching the Grade 4/5 French Immersion class and Miss Snyder will join us as an Educational Assistant.  Returning to Abraham Erb are Mrs. Baird-Wentworth who will be teaching Grade 3 English, Mrs. Orchard will be teaching Grade 3/4 English, Mrs. Nikolic will be teaching Kindergarten, Mrs. Goralia  will be our DECE core and Mrs. Fangrad will continue to be an Educational Assistant. The beginning of the school year is an exciting time for everyone and our aim is to have a smooth transition for all students as they begin a new school year. As the year progresses, please feel free to contact me at any time.
